Today we wrapped up our Reproduction Unit by going over the assignment given on Friday.  I also gave a study guide today to help with organizing your studying going into the exam on Wednesday.
Know the following for the exam

1. The Cell - Plant and Animal
2. Types of Reproduction
• Asexual - methods for plants and animals
• cell division (mitosis)
• Sexual
• Flowering plants
3. Genetics
• genes, traits, characteristics, dominance
• DNA - know the base pairs and how it works!!
4. Human Reproduction
• male/female reproductive systems
• menstrual cycle - know the 4 hormones involved
• pregnancy and conception
• contraception and reproductive technologies

The exam will include a section on matching, fill in the blank, diagrams as well as short answer.  The exam is out of 84 marks.
