Science 90 - Oct 2 & 3

Today we did Activity A28 on page 92 in the textbook.  This activity allowed us to look at the four hormones that are responsible for the female menstrual cycle.  We learned how these hormones work in tandem to signal different changes in the cycle, including ovulation and menstruation.  Students handed in Activity A28 at the end of the class.  Tomorrow we will learn about pregnancy and about contraception and artificial fertilization technologies.  This will be covered on slides 109-112.  We will conclude the unit with a small assignment on slide 113.  I will be checking this assignment on Monday.
