We got settled into our new classroom today and students learned about atomic theory and how it developed over time. We also learned about the significance of scientific models and the difference between scientific theories and scientific laws. These notes were covered on slides 23-31 in the chemistry notes powerpoint and then students had a chance to work on the homework given on slide 32. It is quite a large assignment and will be checked tomorrow. Make sure you have it done.
Tomorrow we will start looking at the elements and how they are categorized. After going over the homework of course.
