Today we started looking at the force of friction and how it works. We learned that friction only depends on the material that the surfaces in contact are made of as well as the normal force that the surface supplies to the object. We learned about the difference between kinetic friction and static friction as well as how to calculate each value. This was covered on slides 43-50. We did a couple of examples as well but didn't quite get to assignment 3.5. We will get there tomorrow. On Halloween. BWUhahahahaha (that sounded creepier in my head)
