Today students wrote the quiz on nomenclature. I also checked Assignments C9 and C10 while the quiz was going on. Please check the answers posted in the answer key section in the Course Notes link. After students completed the quiz, they learned about changing a word equation into a chemical equation using their knowledge of nomenclature. I assigned Assignment C11 for tomorrow as well as a video from the Course videos link. It is linked here. Please watch this for tomorrow's class.
For Assignment C11 - do not do questions 2,3 and 7 unless you understand a combustion reaction and the products of a combustion reaction. As well for question 4, the products should be potassium nitrate and water NOT potassium hydroxide and water.
