Yesterday students wrote the quiz on the mole and then had the remainder of class to work on their lab reports for Lab C2. Today we started into stoichiometry. Students learned about molar ratios today and spend time figuring out different molar ratios for some examples. At the end of class I assigned Homework C23, which looks at calculating molar ratios. Tomorrow we will look at some gravimetric stoichiometry.
There is a new powerpoint that I am using for stoichiometry. It is called Stoichiometry Notes and it is found the Notes folder of the Chemistry unit. Remember this is all in the Physical Science 20 Course Notes link along the right hand side of this webpage. Today we covered slide 1-7.
