Physical Science 20 - March 1

Today in class we learned how to do another type of conversion.  This one involved solutions and how to convert between liters of a solution and moles of the solute (the thing that is being dissolved).  This involved using the concentration of the solution you are working with - called the molarity.  We worked through two examples and then students had some time to work on Homework C20.  We will take this up tomorrow.  The notes for today we found on slides 23-29 of the Mole powerpoint.  Tomorrow we will learn our last conversion, from liters of a gas to moles.
