Today in class we continued looking at the different types of chemical reactions. I showed the students some demonstrations of the different types and I made students identify what reaction I was showing. After I did the reaction, students then tried to predict what was formed from the reaction. At the end of class I assigned Homework C12. We will go over this tomorrow and start learning how to predict the products of a reaction, particularly focusing on single replacement reactions.
I handed back Assignment C1 today. Students are reminded that they have to hand back the corrections tomorrow for the assignment.
