Today we finished our notes on molecular compounds in Period 3 and continued on learning how to name simple ionic compounds. Students then had the rest of class to work on Assignments C1 and C2. We will be going over both tomorrow. In Period 2, I checked Assignment C1 and then we learned about simple ionic substances. Students spent the remainder of the class working on Assignment C2. I will be checking this tomorrow. Tomorrow we will be moving on and looking at polyatomic ions as well as multiple cationic charges.
