Physics 30 - April 13

Welcome back everyone from the Easter break - the last long break before the summer and grad for all of you.  I started class today by reviewing what we have learned in the unit before the break.  I thought this was important because most students probably didn't look at physics over the break.  Students should make sure they work through Assignments 3.1-3.4 before Wednesday as we have our first in class assignment in this unit then.  

Today we continued on the unit by looking at friction and how friction works.  We talked about what friction depends on and then we studied kinetic friction specifically.  We did example 13 in the notes and then started example 14.  Tomorrow we will finish example 14 and then look at static friction.
